Potty mouth and supporter of the NHS Martha Wainwright is playing tonight at the Jazz Cafe. If you like kooky vocals and sombre ballads with a bit of sass then you should probably go to this. THEATRE

THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED

Douglas Carter Beane needs little introduction. Well, that’s a lie. He wrote the screenplay for the 90s romp ‘To Wong Foo,Thanks for Everything! Juile Newmar’ starring Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes. Now his Tony award nominated satire on how super fake Hollywood like totally is, is moving to the Garrick theatre, and it has an excellent cast. Tamsin Greig (Green Wing), Gemma Arterton (Tess of The D’Urbervilles) and Ruper Friend (boyfriend of Keira Knightley) star in a dark comedy of cover-ups sleaze and general dastardly behaviour. Previews are running this week. Get your tickets ‘ere.
